I've updated my landing page, can I get some more feedback please?

Hey again 👋🏽

I posted a few days ago for the very first time to ask for feedback on my landing page.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who gave me feedback and for being so positive!

I'm back to ask for feedback on the updates I've put in. Let me know what you think.

I would like to launch by the end of this month, hopefully I'm nearly ready.

Cheers

I am not here to judge your product, because I wouldn't use it personally (just use a regular speed test site myself):

    • Could you list some pros and cons of using your product? That could help conversions
    • Any feedback in terms of reviews from current users? Could help with re-affirming the product's need/persona i.e. I've got spotty internet all the time and I spend all day in calls, with this menubar app I can check my connectivity in milliseconds not seconds!

One more thing and feel free to ignore but in terms of product, it would make more sense, to me as an engineer at least, if it would automatically stay in the taskbar with a color and number - red/green - and you ping every time you HOVER the taskbar's icon no need to click anywhere that way. <- I have this concept for CPU temperature and usage. super useful.

It looks simple and to the point. Did you think about putting the video inside the iMac frame? That will allow you to get rid of the 'see demo' button.

How did you come up with the pricing? I usually google 'speed test' (if I am still connected to the internet) and it only takes a few seconds to see my speed so I was wondering if people would be willing to pay $5 for the app.

I had considered putting the video inside the iMac, however with my current CSS skill level I think the time taken might outstrip the benefits gained 😅

With regards to price, I think it's much easier to put the price down than it is to raise it perhaps? I've seen other products at similarly low prices which users could also just google free alternatives.

I agree, a video insed iMac or a animated gif… and I have the same doubts about the price.

I like the iMac sitting on the bottom of the page!

The two vertically stacked and dissimilarly styled buttons irk me though...

Here was my quick hack: horizontal buttons

They now have the same styling as each other, hopefully an improvement 🙂

No longer irked! Though it would be good to try and find a way to make the demo button seem secondary
