Hi IH,
The previous version of this landing page was pulled together in 30 minutes and was just a collection of screenshots of Powerpoint slides (scrappy but effective...).
I've just done a full revamp and would love any feedback!
Is it clear what I'm offering and what the value proposition is?

Cheers,
I get what it is after looking at the whole page (and I do see value in it), but I don't think it's immediately clear from the headline. I would clarify the sort of test you;re referring to and also mention that it is for YouTube earlier, either within the headline or graphically.
This is just off the top of my head, but maybe you could try something along the lines of "Optimize your YouTube video thumbnails for more views" and then use the subhead to expand on how.
You could also make the page more effective by offering a bit more detail. Try to answer questions people might have such as is it a split test between different options the user has or a split test between the user's thumbnail and other people's video on a similar topic? Who are the "real people" the options are shown to (a panel, actual people on YouTube, etc.)? What's specifically included in the analytics?
On a side note, I know this isn't specifically related to the page, but the sample size would keep me from using this. Even the higher plan with 500 people is not enough to reach statistical validity.
I know plenty of people don't follow real scientific methodology when testing, so there may be a market for you product, but I thought it would be worth mentioning, for what it's worth.
Best of luck.
Have just done another revamp, would love to hear your thoughts 😊
It's better than the last version. I think there is room to improve it further, too.
The headline has a good benefit, but it's a bit generic. I'd explore some alternatives. Perhaps you could add more specifics, illicit more emotion, make it more newsworthy, etc.
I also wonder about the word testing. Coming from the direct marketing world, my expectation of a thumbnail test would be to alternately serve up the versions on YouTube and track results of user actions (such as views). What this is, I think, is more of a survey. Maybe your target audience has a different mindset, though. I'd try to set up some time to speak with those people.
Thank you for the detailed feedback.
I've just done another revamp, changed the headline and added a FAQ! Would love to hear what you think.
On the sample size point, we've actually been struggling in terms of balancing the sample size and pricing (higher sample size would be more expensive). What sample size would you be looking for if you were running a test and how much would you be willing to pay for it?
I would be looking for around 750+, depending on the topic. It's hard to say what I'd pay because I'm not in your target market. I don't have a YouTube channel. Do you have a way to determine an estimated ROI? That might help.
This is a really cool idea. I understood the value prop immediately when I read the title. But it took me a while to understand how it works. The quick scan through the page didn't work for me, so I had to read the text and then I understood.
how
is actually in the text and my attention doesn't go there at all. This made the remaining steps also a little unclear.in your face
right now. Given that you are addressing creators and marketers who tend to have modern design sensibilities, you'll have to take care of this.Thank you for the detailed feedback - I really appreciate it 😊
I can completely see how this can happen. Perhaps if I reduce the size of the "Which video would you watch" your attention might be more drawn to the text on the side?
Completely agree, I will need to continue to work on the design of the landing page.
I've been getting this sense too. I think I might go back to using a simpler letter logo (like the one ProductHunt has). Any ideas or suggestions you have on this would be super helpful!
Do you mean in the title ("The fastest and easiest way to test thumbnails")? or the text in the later sections?
I will jump on this thread.
3. Something that delivers the message of analyzing thumbnails. But I don't have the full idea of it yet. You may want to play with thumbnails + analytics images and experiment on it.
Because it would give your value proposition highlight than the current one.
Hi Yang, I understand the offer and the value proposition. If I may bounce it back to you what I have understood - you're working on advertising and what images, thumbnails in this case, would get more traction. It's analytics for thumbnails. This way the person can reevaluate if they're using the right thumbnail that can engage the users.
The landing page looks good in terms of information but could look better in terms of design and how these are presented.
Thank you for the feedback!
You've go the offer and value proposition correct 😊
Do you have any tips on how I can improve the design?
If I understand correctly the idea is that you test my youtube video preview/thumbnail to see how many people would click on it.
I think that the design is clean. I didn't understand the pricing though. Why do I pay 10x more for 5x as many users?
Correct! I may have to revisit the pricing. In terms of why it is 10x more, it's because this package gives you significantly more statistical certainty over which thumbnail is a better performer!
And for a slower turnaround in that case. I do understand that it would be dependent on the 500 people who will engage in it.
TBH, I haven't heard the word thumbnail in a very long time. I'm not sure what the use case is, but maybe I'm not the target audience.
Thank you for the feedback. This service is basically targeted towards YouTubers only, so if you aren't super active on YouTube I wouldn't be surprised at you not hearing the word thumbnail for a very long time!
