🚀 Lori Website Launched! What do you think?

Hey Indie Hackers.

Today the website for Lori got launched! 🚀
I won't tell you here what it does, so your browsing experience won't be biased by knowing that info. Soon the MVP will be done and launched too, so I would like to see how the website will perform.

https://iamlori.app/

I'm trying to gather up mailing list in order to validate the idea better and give myself moral boost to continue building. Do you think I can make it?

Lori needs your help, so start roasting 🔥

Like the strong orange contrast @Daniel_I

Understand the idea. Because you mentioned it's for social media. Would be nice to see some outputs!

I'm also improving my website, keen to know your advice!

I love the simplicity! Everything you need, you can find it in few scrolls.

The writing style of the title above the fold should be consistent. Because of that "Angel investors" should be "Angel Investors". It's above the fold, so it has to be flawless.

I'm more concerned for the "Submit a venture" page. The page has a single purpose of submitting a venture, so I don't see reason why there should be double scrolling? If you could extend that AirTable embed to full length of the content, then there will be single scroll on the page and will be way easier to use 😉

      Hope this helps. Good luck!

Thank you for your input, Felix.
I will make sure to check out your website and write you some thoughts! :)

Looks clean and well put together. However, I am a little confused about what it does. Is this a chrome extension for creating images?

      Hey Todd,
This is a Chrome Extension which helps you to quickly create compelling images for your social media marketing channels for your business.
But I guess that's not explained well on the site and it needs imporvements haha.

I am not here to roast because I was in the same spot two months ago so here are some reviews:

    GOOD POINTS
Favicon looks nice. Nice logo and header. Fonts are fine. The main text is big and readable. It's clean. The cards are beautifully designed. The footer looks good too.

    CRITICISM
Your Email address collection UI is a bit messy. It gives a not-so-professional look.

    Current style:
    <TEXT> <INPUT>
    <BUTTON>

    I would recommend following style:
    <TEXT> - on different line
<INPUT><BUTTON> - on the same line

For the bottom CTA for collecting email address, follow this:
<INPUT><BUTTON> - on the same line

If you are interested, I could help you set up a FAQ Widget from my recently launched startup for free. You can see https://www.insteps.io for its demo because I use it on my website too! Let me know if you would be interested.

    Keep up the great work!

      Hey Neu,

I completely agree with you. The above mentioned styling is something I've seen before on successful businesses, but I didn't think it's something important.

I think Insteps looks beautiful and would be perfect addition to the Lori website. Please, hit me up on hello@iamlori.app with the details :)

Thank you for the constructive and helpful feedback. I really appreciate it!

I'm not sure exactly what Lori does, tbh. "without even leaving the tab" is confusing to me. What tab? Like if I'm in Instagram about to post a picture, first Ill open Lori and perfect my image within the same tab, and then post to Instagram? I think 1 simple example like that would help users understand what you do. Good overall design though.

"avoid repetitive design tasks while keeping your brand consistent!"

The texts on each card is way too long.
    "predefined templates for quick creation"
"Forget the back and forth, finish everything in the same tab."

I'm not sure you're sharing the value enough. Something like "custom images with your brand's font drives more engagement" would be helpful.

I'm looking for a review too - OmniDebate.com. You can find my post in the feedback page as well. Thanks!

      Hey Matt,

Thank you for your insight. I really appreciate it and will make the changes.
On my way to check out OmniDebate 😉

      Take care!

    Hi Daniel,
Congrats on your launch! I think a great addition would be an example of an image that's generated by Lori. I haven't seen anything else like Lori, which is great, but it would be super helpful to see an example of what Lori can and should be used for.

    Good luck!

      Hey Steve,
I really appreciate your feedback. Glad you like it!
I will definitely put some screenshots and/or video of how Lori works. Maybe even illustrations of the whole process.

      Thank you!!!
