Hey,
On Writerie we have integrated a Roadmap, user can propose new features and vote on proposed features https://app.writerie.com/page/roadmap
I really like that, because this way your user decide what features they want. Now I am wondering if I should make this an extra service so every website can integrate a Roadmap for their site with one line of code (iframe or script).
What do you think, would there be people paying for such a service?
https://www.feedy.app/ seems to be well done and free
There's a guy who frequents the bootstrapper forums who has a SaaS app that does just that. He has paying customers, so there's definitely a need for it: https://featureupvote.com/
It’s a good idea. I know one other site that does the same, that you can get some inspiration from :))

I have seen quite a few people use Github Projects as a public roadmap. It is quick to setup and does the job.
However I think there are definitely a need for a service which nicely integrates into your homepage. But on the other hand, you could easy hardcode the stage the different features are in, and when you finish one feature simply redeploy your website (if your CI/CD makes it simple, of course)
Thanks everyone. So, looks like there is already quite some competition, so have to rethink if there is really the need for yet another one, although I do have some ideas which none of the existing services seem to offer.
Users sometimes don't know what they want / need. Letting them vote doesn't mean you're making the best choices for your roadmap.
