Hi,
Over a month ago, when the lockdown started, I read tons of news about waiters and retail workers losing their jobs. The tech industry is already filled with online job boards that cater to that market but I noticed that the blue-collar workers whose jobs can't be converted to remote work do not have a resource or job board showing them remote jobs that they themselves can do without needing a degree or specialization like being a dev.
The site is https://wfhpad.com/
Don't hold back, my goal is to make the site as easy as possible for users to understand.
It's easy enough to understand, but I think you could make some changes from a UX perspective.
For one thing, why isn't there a description of the jobs, just a title and apply button. Before spending time applying for things, I would want to know a bit more about what's involved with the job.
It would be nice if there were some sorting options other than just gigs and long-term jobs, maybe by skill, type of work, pay range, etc.
It could also be helpful to include a keyword search function.
Hope that helps.
Thank you Sean! Definitely helps! I will look into incorporating search and sorting options.
